FALL RIVER - Adriana M. (Bernardo) Forte, age 64, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

Born in Fenais da Ajuda, St. Michael, Azores, she was daughter of the late Jose Francisco and Lourdes (Soares) Bernardo. Adriana was the beloved wife of Peter Forte of Fall River.

Prior to her retirement, Adriana worked as an inspector in the textile industry. She loved tending her garden at home, especially flowers and ornamental plants. She found joy in decorating her home and surrounding herself with pictures of her family. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing.  More than anything, Adriana loved her family. They were the center of her world. She will always be cherished and remembered as a giving, kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by: daughters, Stephanie Brito and son-in-law Michael Brito of Assonet, MA, Nicole Forte of Fall River, MA, and Vitoria Forte of Fall River, MA; grandchildren, Jasmine and Aidan; parents-in-law, Armando and Valentina Forte. Siblings, Elizabeth Moniz of Acushnet, MA, Luisa Medeiros of Dartmouth, MA, Jaime Bernardo of Acushnet, MA, Manuel Bernardo of Acushnet, MA, and Joe Bernardo of Naples, FL; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister Veneranda Ponte.

A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Holy Name Church in Fall River, followed by interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Fall River. Arrangements were held under the direction of Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, MA 02720.
