Somerset- Aida T. Saraiva, age 95, passed away peacefully at Clifton Nursing Home on Tuesday, October 11 ^th .  Born in Chaves, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Albino and Felicidade Terraquente.  She was the loving wife of the late Antonio G. Saraiva.

When Aida was younger, she liked to dance and listen to live music.  She enjoyed crocheting and cooking.  Aida loved spending time with her family and cherished the holidays, especially Christmas, where she got everyone together to share food, laughter and make wonderful memories.  She was a unbelievable role model to her children and grandchildren.  She was an amazing wife, mother, sister and grandmother and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children; Jorge Saraiva, Orlando Saraiva, Antonio Saraiva, Jose Saraiva and Eddie Saraiva, Maria Ferreira and Maria Goncalves as well as twelve grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to go directly to St. Michaels Church for a Mass of Christian Burial for Aida on Friday, October 14 ^th at 10:00 A.M.  Interment to follow at St. Patricks Cemetery in Fall River.  The Manuel Rogers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.  To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit www.rogersfuneral.com
