BRISTOL, R.I. – Albertina (Perreira) Silva, age 89 and a longtime resident of Bristol, RI, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, Albertina was the beloved wife of the late Deodato S. Silva and the daughter of the late Manuel & Maria (Botelho) Perreira.

Prior to retiring, Albertina worked as a Certified Nurses Aide for Crestwood Nursing Care in Warren, and for Metacom Manor Nursing Care in Bristol.

Albertina is survived by her children: Joseph Silva of Fall River, Raymond Silva of Fall River, Sal Silva of Fall River, Susan Costa of New Bedford, and Amy Dias of Bristol, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Albertina was predeceased by her daughter: Mary Ordway and her son: Deodato Silva, and her siblings: Irene Barboza, Joe Duarte, Mary Ann Pereira, Beatrice Oliveira and Manuel Perreira.

At Albertina's request, her Private Visitation will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Tuesday, Oct. 18 ^th with a Public Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church at 10:00 A.M. Entombment will be private.
