Alda M. Menezes, age 78 of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026. Born in Ribeira Grande, São Miguel, Açores, Alda was the daughter of the late Manuel and Alodia (Tavares) Menezes, and the sister of the late Delta Moniz, Luis Menezes, and Zeida Botelho.

Prior to retiring, Alda worked at Lightolier in Fall River and she also enjoyed traveling with family and friends.

She is survived by her children Steven Craveiro (Lisa), Kerry Craveiro (Greg Machado), and Linda Vuittonet (Christopher); sisters Aura Menezes, and Lina Henriques; 7 grandchildren Alberto Steven Algarin, Devion Craveiro, Casey Taylor, Matthew Craveiro, Isis, Victoria, & Christopher Vuittonet; 3 great grandchildren Julius King Algarin, Zariah Rose Algarin, & Jacob Masse; nieces & nephews.

Alda's funeral will take place on Friday, January 23rd at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River at 8:30 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at Santo Christo Church at 10:00 AM.
