SOMERSET – Alice E. (Grillo) Diniz, age 98 of Somerset, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Born in Westport, Alice was the beloved wife of the late Manuel F. Diniz Jr., the daughter of the late Manuel P. and Mary (Cambra) Grillo, and the mother of the late Clifford A. Diniz (late wife Debra).

Alice was a stay-at-home mom, raising her 3 children. She was a communicant of St. John of God Church and loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: Manuel F. Diniz III (wife Rosemary) of Somerset, and Alice E. Gut (husband Raymond) of Somerset; 4 sisters: Florence Conroy, Mary Jane Mello, Ann Goldstein, Virginia Turcotte; 4 grandchildren: Tracey Mitchell, Crystal Vieira, Douglas A. Diniz, and Michael A. Diniz; 4 great grandchildren: Jason Neves, Tyler Neves, Riley Canha, and Brianna Diniz; many nieces & nephews. Alice was the sister of the late Isabel Trznadel, John Grillo, Manuel Grillo, Rosyln Wordell.

Alice's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA on Monday, Nov. 15 ^th with a visitation from 8:30-9:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John of God Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
