It is with great sadness that we share the news of Alice Simbro, age 95, passed away on May 28, 2025 at Somerset Ridge. She was the beloved wife of the late John M. Simbro. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Furtado) Correia.

Alice was a kind-hearted woman, deeply devoted to her role as a wife and mother. Her love for her family was unwavering. A passionate reader and loyal Red Sox fan, she never missed a chance to cheer them on.

She was loved and cherished by many people including her sons Bruce A. Simbro of Somerset and the late Gary A. Simbro; late siblings Joseph and Manuel Corriea and Irene Gress; as well as nieces, nephews and other family members.

A visitation for Alice will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd from 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. A funeral mass will follow in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Swansea at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
