Fall River - Almerinda (Pacheco) Medeiros, age 81, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 18, 2022.  Born in Ribeirinha, Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Acores, she was the daughter of the late Jeremias and Almerinda (Pimentel) Pacheco.  She was the beloved wife of the late Henrique Medeiros.

Almerinda worked as a sewing machine operator for many years.  She loved attending the feast, listening to Portuguese music, dancing, sewing and cooking.  Her and her husband owned Henry's Café for many years.  Most of all she was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children; Henry Medeiros (wife Charlene), Anna Demers (husband Christopher), Jeremiah Medeiros, Rosa Rovoredo (husband Flavio) and Billy Medeiros; her siblings; Conceicao Silva, Germana Borges and Lucia Fraga; her grandchildren; Crystal Medeiros, Corey Felix (wife Elisha), Alex Rovoredo, Jeremiah Jr Medeiros, Kelly Rovoredo  and Taryn Demers; her great grandchildren; Jayden Moniz, Jordan & Chloe Felix and Aaliyah Rovoredo; her sister in-law Helana Medeiros as well as many nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her siblings; Jose, Mariano, Manuel and Jeremias Pacheco and Maria Sousa.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N Main St. Fall River on Thursday April 21 at 9:00 A.M.  a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Espirito Santo Church at 10:00 A.M.  burial to follow at St. Patricks Cemetery in Fall River.  A visitation will be held at Manuel Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday April 21 ^st from 7:30-9:00 A.M.  To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit www.rogersfuneral.com
