SOMERSET - In loving memory, we honor the life of Angelina M. Costa, age 72, who passed away on February 28, 2026 at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Anibal R. Costa. Born in Mosteiros, São Miguel, Açores, to Agostinho and Rozalina (Medeiros) daSilva.

Angelina dedicated more than 20 years of her life working as a nurses' aide in various nursing homes, where she cared for others with patience and kindness. She was a devoted fan of the Boston Bruins, rarely missing a game and proudly cheering them on each season. Angelina was a wonderful cook whose kitchen was always filled with warmth and delicious meals. She was also a talented seamstress who often sewed her own clothing, and she had a special gift for cross-stitching. A faithful parishioner of St. Michael's Church, her faith was an important part of her life. Above all, Angelina cherished her family, holding a special place in her heart for her beloved grandsons, who brought her endless pride and joy.

She was loved and cherished by many people including her children Madeline Costa of Somerset, Kathleen Costa of Tiverton, Carmen Costa of Fall River and Samuel Costa (wife Glenna) of Swansea; her 2 grandsons Miles and Jude Costa; siblings Lucia Pavao of Fall River, Ildo daSilva of Westport, Zelia Fernandes of Westport and Agostinho daSilva of Swansea; as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members that will sadly miss her.

Angelina's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Friday, March 6th here at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours on Thursday, March 5th from 4-7 PM.
