Anthony Anselmo Sr., age 66 of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in the comforts of his home with his family by his side. Born April 11, 1958, Anthony was the beloved husband of 43 years to Claire (Bouchard) Anselmo, the son of the late Antone V. and the late Guilhermina (Arruda) Anselmo, and the brother of the late Albert Anselmo.

Anthony had worked as a jeweler for many years, and he loved fishing and being around the ocean. He also coached baseball for many years with the Swansea Independent Baseball League. Most of all, Anthony loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Anthony is survived by his children Anthony Anselmo Jr, (wife Erin) of New Bedford, Andrea Cigarrilha (husband Ryan) of Somerset, and Barrett Anselmo of Fall River; siblings Rosemarie Walde (late husband Paul), Theresa Jennings, (husband Richard); grandchildren Henry Antone Anselmo, Madison Anselmo, Rylie Cigarrilha, Cody Cigarrilha, and Ryker Anthony Anselmo; nieces & nephews.

Following cremation, Anthony's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Saturday, March 22nd, here at 9:30 AM, followed by a funeral mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Mt. Pleasant St., New Bedford at 11:00 A.M. Calling hours on Friday, March 21st  from 5-8 P.M.
