Antone G. Pereira, age 79 of Lakeville, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Fall River, Antone was the beloved husband of Michele G. (Perry) Pereira and the son of the late Antonio C. and Elizabeth (Camara) Pereira.

Prior to retiring, Antone worked as a machinist for a tool manufacturing company in Middleboro. He was an active member and past 1st Asst. Treasurer of the Feast of the Blessed Sacrament New Bedford. Antone loved to go fishing, and enjoyed making his annual wine. He loved traveling to Madeira where he went several times, and visiting his son and grandchildren in Wisconsin.

Antone loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling with his granddaughter Ashley, taking her to her swim meets throughout New England.

In addition to his wife Michele, Antone is survived by his three children: Micheline Pereira of Lakeville, Kimberly Banville of Swansea, and Kevin Pereira of Wisconsin; four grandchildren: Ashley Zielke, Kevin Pereira, Elizabeth Schad, and Brett Pereira; nine great grandchildren; nieces & nephews.

Antone's wake will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 4-7 PM with a service at 6:00 PM in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River.
