Antone V. Rego, age 84, a lifetime resident of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024 at Kimwell Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Antone A. and Christina H. (Camara) Rego.

Antone was a 1959 graduate of Diman Vocational High School. Antone joined the Marines and was in the reserves for 6 years. Upon return he worked with his father doing construction. Antone then worked as a Firefighter for the Fall River Fire Department for 25 years,  many of those driving Engine 6 at the North Main Street Firehouse.

Tony was a member of the Fall River Concourse Racing Pidgeon Club and the Looms Up Club. Antone was a passionate fan of all New England sports teams. He had a love for cooking shows, reading and music. He was deeply devoted to Mary the Holy Mother.

Tony was very devoted to his parents and provided wonderful care to both his mother and father. He was a strong, person who kept to himself but would never hesitate to help anyone.

Tony is survived by his sister Kathleen Rego Pelletier, his niece Sheryl Rego Morley and nephew Christopher Pelletier, along with a great niece & great nephews.
