FALL RIVER – Artemisia Maria Pereira, age 90 of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2022 in the comforts of her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Agua Retorta, São Miguel, Azores, Artemisia was the beloved wife of the late Manuel S. Pereira and the daughter of the late Manuel & Maria C. Pereira.

Prior to retiring, Artemisia worked as a seamstress for the last 20 years at Center Garment. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua. Artemisia loved to cook and sew, but most of all she loved her granddaughters.

She is survived by her 2 sons: Steven Pereira & David Pereira both of Fall River; 2 granddaughters: Kelsey E. Pereira and Allison A. Pereira; her sister: Zelia Resendes; 6 nieces & nephews. Artemisia was the sister of the late Noemia P. Torres, Manuel R. Pereira, & Joseph C. Pereira.
