FALL RIVER – Arthur Laprise, age 81 of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center. Born in Westport, Arthur was the beloved husband of the late Pauline (Estrella) Laprise and the son of the late Albert & Amelia (Wilks) Laprise.

Prior to retiring, Arthur worked as a Tool & Dye Maker for many years. One of his favorite paste times, was participating in the sport of pigeon racing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Arthur was the loving father of Donna Viveiros (fiancé Grover Owens) of Goose Creek, SC, the late Susan Cabeceiras, and Barbara Goncalo of Fall River; the brother of Ronald  & Albert Laprise, the late Dennis Laprise, and the late Dorothy "Dottie" Oliver; grandfather of Thomas Laprise of Bryson City, NC.
