Belmira S. Costa, age 69 of Fall River, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026. Born in Rabo de Peixe, São Miguel, Açores, Belmira was the daughter of Maria Gilda (Silva) Costa and the late Belmiro I. Costa, and the wife of Arnaldo T. Costa.

Belmira was a graduate of Johnson & Whales University with an Associates degree to become a paralegal. Prior to retiring, Belmira worked as a clerk at St. Anne's Hospital for many years. One of her great enjoyments was trying her luck on the "One Arm Bandits" at the casinos. Most of all, Belmira loved spending time with her family especially with her four grandchildren whom she cherished.

In addition to Mother and Husband, Belmira is survived by her children Jennifer Costa, Stephanie Costa, and Scott Costa and his wife Krystle Alves; her beloved grandchildren Braydin Maddix, Madison Costa, Raelyn Harris, and Makaylee Costa.

Belmira's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026 here at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's Cathedral, Spring St., at 10:00 AM. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
