Benedict T. Correa, age 92 of Somerset, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025 in the comforts of his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Agnes L. (Mello) Correa, the son of the late John and Frances (Furtado) Correa, and the step son of the late Margaret (Camara) Correa.

Benedict was a US Army veteran, stationed in France, during the Korean War. He was a District Manager for Morse Shoe in Canton, MA for many years, and store manager at Harve's Shoe Box in Dartmouth, MA before retiring. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Aruba and Florida with his beloved wife Agnes, and spending time with his family and friends and especially with his grandchildren.

Benedict is survived by his three children, David B. Correa (wife Cynthia) of Rehoboth, Christopher J. Correa (wife Wendy) of Somerset and Lisa F. Correa, also of Somerset; nine grandchildren Justin Correa (wife Ashley) Jayson Darrow (wife Joanie), Katie (Correa) Fenucci, Cassandra Correa, Travis Correa, Kevin Correa, Nickolas Steele, Kaitlyn Steele, Rhea Berade; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. Benedict was predeceased by his three brothers, John, Joseph, and Walter Correa.

A visitation for Benedict will be held on Thursday, Jan. 23rd from 8:30-10:30 A.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. A funeral mass will follow in Our Lady of Peace Parish at St. Patrick's Church, Somerset at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Somerset.
