FALL RIVER - In loving memory, we honor the life of Bento S. Rapoza Jr., age 82, who passed away on April 28, 2025 at Fall River Health Care. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Bento and Marceline "Nancy" (Vital) Rapoza.

Bento spent seven years working at Catholic Memorial Home following a long career as a presser at Duro Manufacturing. He was known for his sharp sense of style and his love for country music, Toyotas, and, most of all, spending time with his family. He especially cherished moments shared with his long-time companion, Patricia Anderson, his son Matthew Rapoza, daughter-in-law Pamela, and grandson MJ.

Along with his companion, son and family, he is survived by his siblings Richard Rapoza of Tiverton and Nancy Hopkins (husband William) of Hudson, MA; niece Tracey Frietas; nephew Billy Hopkins (wife Betsy); great-nieces and nephews Jordan, Hayden, Michael and Nick.

A visitation for Bento will be held on Monday, May 5th from 9-11 A.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. A funeral mass will follow in Espirito Santo Church at 11:30 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
