Blane Michael Farias, age 57, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025 in No. Providence. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Michael B. and Helen Marie (Soares) Farias. He is survived by his brother Michael Blane Farias; niece Heather Farias; and great nephew Nevin Kosinski.

Blane had worked as a commercial truck driver for several years, and in his earlier years, taught himself how to play the guitar. He then started his own band and began writing his own music. He loved to cook, was a practical jokester, and enjoyed deep conversations with friends.

A service for Blane will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Tuesday, Dec. 9th at 11:00 A.M. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
