Brian Phillips, age 53 passed away on November 23, 2021.  Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Joseph Phillips and Lorraine (Viveiros) Phillips.  He obtained a Master's Degree in Business at Thomas College and proudly served in the US Army as a Staff Sergeant in Operation Desert Storm.   Brian went on to become the owner of Viveiros Insurance, which was founded by his late uncle and mentor Joseph Viveiros.

Brian was an extremely generous man, deeply spiritual, and above all he loved his family.  His greatest joy in life was being a father to his son Nicholas and daughter Samantha.  He is also survived by his wife, Earleen Phillips of Fall River and his loving companion Rhonda Medeiros.  Also, his siblings, Christopher Phillips and his wife Christine of Cumberland, RI and Susan (Phillips) Grant and her husband Thomas of Swansea, MA as well as several nieces and nephews and many, many friends from all stages of his life.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, December 2 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 161 Rock Street in Fall River.

The burial with military honors will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Somerset.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, in Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main Street, Fall River.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian's memory may be made to American Heart Association or The American Diabetes Association.
