Mar 31, 1980 — Nov 7, 2022
November 7, 2022 was the date that the Lord chose to bring Brooke A. Preston to her eternal resting place. She passed away peacefully at home at the age of 42 surrounded by her loving family, after a 4-year battle with colon cancer. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Bob and Eve (Medina) Preston.
Brooke was the loving and devoted mother to her son Noah C. Preston. She was also loved and cherished by her brother Zachary Preston (wife Kimberly) of Gorham, NH and by her sister Samantha Preston of Fall River and was the loving aunt to nephew River Preston of Gorham. Many aunts, uncles and cousins will also miss her. She was the granddaughter of the late Clifford and Blanche Preston and the late John and Eva Medina. Brooke was also emotionally attached to her 2 family dogs, first a Golden Retriever named Riley, and, later, a Maltese Terrier named Shadow.
Among Brooke's many interests were traveling throughout the United States, especially in recent years in the family R.V. Foxwoods for Bingo and slots was also a favorite destination. She was an avid follower of both Patriots and Red Sox. Her love for Tom Brady followed him to Tampa Bay. Brooke enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, including the soap operas "Young and the Restless" and "The Bold and the Beautiful". Music was another love including "The Voice" and recording artist Kelly Clarkson, Maroon Five, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and New Kids on the Block. Her greatest joy was family gatherings at cookouts and during the holidays. The fragrances of Yankee Candles were always around and McDonalds Caramel Frappes were a frequent craving.
