Fall River – Carlos A. Valente, age 49, of Fall River, passed away May 8, 2022 surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.  Born in Mexilhoeira Grande, Portugal he was the son of Manuel and Clementina (Faustino) Valente.

He was a hair stylist for many years which was his true passion.  He loved spending days at the beach, animals and leaving smiles where ever he went.  Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his brother Luis Valente and his partner Adriene Feliciano; his sisters Michelle Sardinha and her husband Paul, Carla Resendes and her husband Julio, Patricia Valente and her fiancé Derek Dos Reis; his only God child and niece Kayla Valente, his nieces and nephews; Isaiah, Rylee, Lucas, Elijah, Olivia, Isabella, Khloe, Michael, Daniel, Sophia, Amelia and one great nephew Lucius.

His funeral will take place on Monday, May 16th at 9:00 A.M. from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River with a Funeral Mass at Good Shepherd at 10:00 A.M.  Cremation to follow.  A visitation will be held prior to his funeral at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home on Monday, May 16th from 7:30-9:00 A.M.  To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit www.rogersfuneral.com
