SWANSEA – Carol Ann (Fonseca) Mello, age 77 of Swansea, peacefully passed away on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023 in the comforts of her home with her loving family by her side. Carol was the beloved wife of the late Anthony L. Mello III. Born on June 4, 1945 in Fall River to the late Antone V. & Sadie (Frizado) Fonseca.

Carol is survived by her 2 sons: Anthony (Tony) L. Mello IV of Fall River and John P. Mello of Fall River; her 3 sisters: Joyce Mello (Stephen) of Swansea, Karen Gagnon (Thomas) of Swansea, and Nancy Knapp of Tiverton; and several nieces & nephews.
