Cecelia M. Machado (81) of Somerset, passed away on June 1, 2022. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Cecelia (Chartier) Coelho. She was the high school sweetheart and dearly beloved wife of John G. Machado. Their love was described by Cecelia as "peanut butter and jelly". Once you put them together you can't separate them and John was the jelly because he was so sweet. They traveled through everything life threw at them side by side for 62 years and lived their vows to the utmost.

Her family was her world. She was a fabulous cook and feeding her family and friends was her love language. Cecelia loved the beach, greatly enjoyed her flower garden, and loved watching and feeding the birds. Prior to retirement, she worked as a bank auditor for Rockland Trust for many years.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her children Susan Caron (Roland) of GA, David J. Machado of FL., and Laurie A. Clark (Douglas) of AL; 4 grandchildren: Christopher, Amber, Whitney, and Zachery and 3 great-grandchildren: Bryce, Skyler, and Violet; brother Michael Coelho; and several nieces and nephews. Cecelia was predeceased by her sister Helena Franco.
