SWANSEA – Charles A. Manning, age 86 a resident of Swansea, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia M. (Stinton) Manning and the son of the late Harry B. & Evelyn (Carpenter) Manning.

Prior to retiring, Charles worked as a Machinist at B.A. Ballau Jewelry Mfg. Co. in E. Providence, RI. In his free time, Charles loved to garden and do landscaping.

He is survived by his children: Debra Francis (husband Robert) of Lancaster, NH, Kevin Manning of Riverside, RI, and James Manning of Laconia, NH; his sister: Elizabeth Thompson of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren: Robert Francis, Heather Santos, Rebecca Rothfield, Lindsay Ferris, Daniel Manning, & Charles R. Manning; great grandchildren: Steven Jay, Madison, Liana, Jaxson, Hannah, Charlotte, & Penelope; several nieces & nephews. Charles was predeceased by his son, Charles Manning Jr., his siblings, Leonard Manning, Sarah Manning, Harry Manning & Barbara Donovan, and his granddaughter, Abigail Manning.

Charles funeral service will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. on Thursday, Jan.13 ^th at 12:00 P.M. with a visitation from 11A.M.-12 P.M.
