FALL RIVER - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine M. Carreiro, 50, of Fall River, who passed away on February 18, 2023 at St. Anne's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Rui Nelson Carreiro and loving mother to her daughters Natasha and Takara Carreiro, all of Fall River.

Born in Fall River to Maria (Gouveia) Coutinho and the late Abilio Coutinho.

Christine especially adored spending time with her family. She had a passion for arts and crafts and truly enjoyed the Christmas season. Christine was very fond of the summer and taking walks while listening to her favorite music, tanning and mowing the lawn. She was a previous volunteer at the Carlton Viveiros Elementary School for many years.

She was loved and cherished by many people including her siblings Danny Coutinho and his wife Ruth; Kevin Coutinho and his girlfriend Lisa Braga; and Melissa Coutinho, all of Fall River; her nephew Ethan Coutinho; godchildren Saraiah Rego and Benjamin Carreiro; as well as many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, February 23 ^rd at 9 A.M. at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River with a service to follow at 10 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours on Wednesday, February 22 ^nd from 4-7 P.M.
