FALL RIVER – Claire R. Pelletier, age 78 and a lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital from complications of a short illness. Claire was the beloved wife of the late Normand P. Pelletier and the daughter of the late Wilfred & Marie (Ferland) Lavoie.

Claire enjoyed life as a stay-at-home mom, raising her son and daughter, then helping to raise her 3 grandchildren and showering them with love. In her free time, Claire loved listening to music and spending time in her backyard with family and friends.

Survivors include her children: Steven Pelletier and Laurie Pelletier both of Fall River; siblings: Armand Lavoie of E. Bridgewater, Juliette Provencal of Somerset, & Lorraine Brisson of Fall River; three grandchildren: Jason Pelletier, Natasha Pelletier, & Talia Pelletier; six great grandchildren: Dylan Messier, Hunter Ferreira, Jaxon Pelletier, twins Ashlyn & Caroline Satterfield, and Mila Andrade; sister-in-law: Diane Tavares; and many nieces & nephews.

Claire's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. on Monday, Jan. 10 ^th here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph's Church at 10:00 A.M. Cremation to follow.
