MYRTLE BEACH - With love and sadness, we say farewell to Claire L. Roussel, formerly Cambra, age 79, who passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2025. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter to the late Leo and Philomena (Letendre) Roussel.

She worked for many years as a cashier at a grocery store, where she was known for her friendly smile and kind spirit. Outside of work, she loved camping in the great outdoors, traveling to new destinations, and spending time playing bingo with friends. After retiring, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of moving to Myrtle Beach, where she enjoyed the beauty of the ocean and the simple pleasures of life by the shore.

She survived by her siblings: Leo, Roger, Roland and Paul Roussel; niece Debra Perry of Florida as well as many nieces and nephews.

Claire has been peacefully laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery, where she rests in God's care. Arrangements are under the direction of the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River.
