FALL RIVER – Clara M. (Curtis) Araujo, age 89, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2021 at Southpointe Rehabilitative Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Alphonse Joseph Araujo. Born in Rockland, ME, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Evelyn (Hastings) Curtis.

Clara was the loving mother to her children Alphonse Joseph Araujo Jr. (wife Deborah) of Taunton, William Earl Araujo (wife Cindy) of Fall River, Helen Carter (companion Dennis) of FL and Diane Marie Araujo of Fall River. She was also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 greatgrandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings George, Harvey, Albert, Wendell and William Curtis, Ella Rezendes, Doris Daniello and Addie Scarpa.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Friday, Nov. 26 ^th with extended calling hours from 8-9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Cathedral at 10:00 A.M. Cremation to follow.
