Courtney Rivest, age 34 of Fall River and Boston, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Sep. 24, 2023. Born in Fall River, she was the beloved daughter of Luisa (Varao) Rivest and the late Bruce A. Rivest.

Courtney played the guitar, was silly and goofy, and absolutely loved Halloween. She also adored her 3 cats, Lola, Oakley, and Frankie.

In addition to her mother, Courtney is survived by her sister Melissa A. (Rivest) Medeiros (her companion Keith DaCosta); her brother Derek M. Rivest (his wife Stephanie) all of Fall River; her 2 nephews Justin Dupras and Benjamin Rivest; her niece Avery R. Medeiros, whom she absolutely loved dearly; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service for Courtney will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023 at 10:30 AM in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Arrangements are under the direction of the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA.
