Daniel J. Oliveira, age 80 of Somerset, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 in the comforts of his home with his loving family by his side. Born in São Miguel, Azores, Daniel was the beloved husband of Margaret "Peggy" A. (Lima) Oliveira and the son of the late Silvino & Beatrice (Perreira) Oliveira.

Daniel served in the MA National Guard and was the owner of Riverside Auto Sales and several other car dealerships in the area. In his leisure time, Dan was a longtime avid golfer and a member of the Montaup Country Club for more than 45 years.

In addition to his wife Peggy, Daniel is survived by his sons: Timothy Oliveira (fiancée Jennifer) of Tiverton, Clifford Oliveira (fiancée Julie) of Somerset, and Todd Oliveira (wife Stacey) of Florida; his brother: John Oliveira of Fall River; grandchildren: Ben, Jack, Lucas, James Oliveira, Kaylee Pinto, Tyler Oliveira, Abby Wright, Michael & Kyle Murphy, Ryan, Colby, Matt, & Faith Oliveira, TJ & Ryan Settar; 6 great grandchildren; nieces & nephews.

Following cremation. Visitation for Daniel will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM-2:00 P.M. with a service at 1:30 P.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA.
