FALL RIVER - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Joseph Borges on February 2, 2024, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Husband of Darlene (Medeiros) Borges, and born in Fall River, son of the late Joseph and Patricia (Francis) Borges. David has over 38 years of experience as a plasterer. Initially working on his own, he spent the last five years with Arsenault Construction Services. His humorous nature could make anyone chuckle. He was a great chef and had a passion for cars. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and numerous friends.

Along with his wife, he was truly loved and cherished by his daughter Holly T. Borges; siblings Joseph Jean Borges, Sandy Ann Borges, Scott Jean Borges and Carl Joseph Borges; his best friend John Medeiros; as well as his nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends, who will sadly miss him.

DUE TO THE PREDICTING FUTURE WEATHER CONDITIONS, David's memorial service has been changed to Wednesday, February 14th at 6:30 P.M. with calling hours from 4-7 P.M. to avoid hazardous driving conditions for all guests planning to attend. Arrangements were under the direction of the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River.
