Deborah J. Walmsley, age 69 of Fall River, passed away on Dec. 24, 2023 at Mass General Hospital, Boston. Deborah was the wife of the late John Walmsley and the daughter of the late Paul & Margaret Marchand. She was also previously married to Richard Hamel.

Prior to retiring, Deborah worked as a cook / dietary aide in the healthcare industry. Deborah enjoyed gardening, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially with her granddaughter.

In addition to her previous husband Richard, Deborah is survived by her 3 children: Paul Hamel of Fall River, Rebecca Evans (husband Christian) of Swansea, and Justin Hamel of Fall River; 2 brothers: Kevin Marchand of FL, and the late Ronnie Marchand; 1 granddaughter: Skyler Belshaw.

Following cremation, calling hours for Deborah will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral home, 1521N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024 from 4-8 P.M.
