FALL RIVER - In loving memory, we honor the life of Delia Maria Botelho, age 80, who passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, at the Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Center with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Jose Botelho. Born in Bretanha, São Miguel, Açores, to Serafim and Cristina (Viveiros) Fernandes.
Delia was a woman of deep faith and simple joys, finding great comfort and community as a member of the Holy Rosary Society at St. John of God. Delia treasured time spent with her loved ones, creating lasting memories through her presence and care. She also had a special fondness for birds, lovingly tending to them and finding peace in their company. Her life was marked by faith, kindness, and a nurturing spirit that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
