FALL RIVER - Denise L Couture died peacefully in her home on May 5, 2025 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late Jeffrey L Couture. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late George & Rita White.

Denise was a devoted wife to her husband Jeffrey, sharing a life of love and cherished memories. As a mother she poured her heart into raising her children Sarah & Jeffrey. She cherished her time with all of her grandchildren, Ethan, Hunter, Giovanni & Greyson, and treasured every moment spent with them. They were the light of her life.

Denise lived with a generous heart. Her perseverance and resilience was undeniable and witnessed by everyone who came in contact with her. Her strength, love and vibrant spirit inspired all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and devotion that will forever be remembered. She was an amazing Wife, Mother, Grandma, Daughter and Aunt to her family, and a wonderful friend to everyone she loved.

A woman of creativity and grace, Denise's job at Raytheon required a steady hand, precision and patience. Those skills blossomed into her passion for creating beautiful stained glass, as she found beauty in the way the light danced through the colors, the same way she saw beauty in life with her family. Denise's light will forever glow in the lives of all she touched, a beautiful mosaic of love and family.

She is survived by her children Sarah Martin (husband Timothy), Jeffrey Couture (wife Desiree), both of Fall River; Her grandchildren Ethan, Hunter and Giovanni Martin & Greyson Couture; Her sisters Dawn Rego, Debbie Rioux, and the late Donna Holmes; Her brothers David White & Wayne White; As well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends that will sadly miss her.

A visitation for Denise will be held on Friday, May 9th from 10:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, followed by service at 12:30 P.M. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery.
