Fall River – Deolinda DeJesus (Botelho) Camara, age 88, passed away peacefully at Sarah Brayton Nursing Home on April 4, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of the late Moises Camara and the daughter of the late João and Marianna (Mathias) Botelho.  She was born in Santo Antonio alem Capelas Saint Michael Azores.

Prior to her retirement she was a machine operator at Quaker Mills.  She was a proud member of the Holy Rosary Society as well as the Children of Mary and was a lifelong parishioner of St. Michaels Church.

Deolinda is survived by her children; Jose, Moises, Gabriel, Lurdes and Dee Camara; her sister, Terezinha Botelho, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N Main St. Fall River on Friday April 8 at 10:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Michaels Church at 10:30.  Interment will be at St. Patricks Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Friday April 8 from 8:00-10:00 A.M.  To offer a condolence please visit www.rogersfuneral.com
