FALL RIVER – Domitila M. "Tilly" (Silva ) Alves, age 65 of Fall River, passed away on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022 at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel Joaquim Alves and the daughter of the late Jośe Joaquim and the late Ermelinda (Rodrigues) Joaquim.

Tilly was a graduate of Bishop Connolly High School and attended B.C.C. Prior to retiring, Tilly worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant. She loved to spend quality time with her family and friends, especially with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Michael P. Alves of Fall River and Jason B. Alves (wife Tammy) Somerset; 3 grandchildren: Kelsey Hannah Alves, Nathan Alves, and Myah Alves; siblings: Gabriel Alves, Mindy Lima, Irene Alves, and Brian Rodrigues; nieces & nephews.

A funeral for Tilly will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. on Tuesday, Feb. 1 ^st here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery.
