FALL RIVER – Donald M. Raposo, age 67 of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022 after a short illness. Born in Bretanha Sao Miguel, Azores, He was the beloved husband of Manuela (Oliveira) Raposo and the adored son of Filomena (Medeiros) Raposo and the late Jaime Raposo.

Donald was a retired construction concrete worker and a communicant of St. Michael's Church. Some of his favorite pastimes was listening to music, walks at Colt State, Heritage Park, and sitting at the President Ave. Plaza Dunkin Donuts enjoying his coffee and conversing with friends. Most of all, Donald loved to spend time with his family, especially with his grandchildren, whom he adored.

In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include his sons: Mark Raposo (wife Jeanna) of Peabody and Jefferey Raposo of Fall River; siblings: Eusebio Raposo (wife Josephine of LaSalle Ontario, Canada, Eduardo Raposo (fiancée Marilda Perreira) of Swansea, Jaime Raposo (wife Connie) of Tiverton, and Odette Beaulieu (husband Richard) of Tiverton; grandsons: Johnny and Ronin Raposo of Peabody; several nieces & nephews.

Donald's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Wednesday, Jan. 4 ^th with visitation from 8-9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Michael's Church, at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
