SOMERSET- With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donna Marie King, age 65, who passed peacefully at her home on March 22, 2026. Born in Fall River she was the beloved daughter of the late James George and Kathleen (Perry) King.

Donna is survived by her sister Karen King and her husband Jim Flynn of Holden, MA; nephew Nathaniel Flynn and his wife Lyndsay along with their daughters Orla and Alma Flynn of Brockton, MA.

Donna was an avid fan of Barry Manilow and took great joy in attending several of his concerts over the years. She loved singing along to his music, whether it was on the radio, videos, or CDs. Donna also enjoyed watching musicals and soap operas, and could often be found happily working on word puzzles. She had a love for dining out, with lobster being a particular favorite. She especially enjoyed attending dances and outings with friends from her Day Habilitation program, as well as spending time at home with her housemates. Donna also had a love for animals and enjoyed visiting zoos. In her younger years, she had several dogs in her life, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Donna's family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all of the staff of People Incorporated who cared for her with gentleness and love for many years. For the past several years Donna received excellent in-home care and oversight from the medical and social work staff of Beacon Hospice. Their support of both Donna and her family is greatly appreciated.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 North Main St., Fall River, MA on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 2:00pm with a service at 2:30 P.M. by Chaplain Ines Bates. Burial will be private.
