Obituary

New Bedford- Dorothy P. Mello (Pimental) Mello, age 93, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on February 20th.  Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Costa) Pimental.  She was the loving wife of the late Charles C. Mello.

Prior to her retirement she worked as a sticher for River Bay Manufacturing for many years.  She has been a resident of Dartmouth since 1954.
Dorothy enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family & her trips to New Hampshire.  She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her daughter Theresa Fritze and her husband Lee,  son Charles C. Mello Jr, and his wife Lisa,  grandchildren Joey and Jes Fritze, Julianna Mello and her great grandchildren Devyn and Daryan Fritze.
