FALL RIVER – Edna Medeiros passed away peacefully on her 92 ^nd birthday on February 27, 2022 at Sarah Brayton Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late John L. Medeiros. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Assad and Martha (Barnamy) Yousif. Edna loved to cook, sew and spend time with the people she loved the most, family and friends.

Edna was a loving mother to Cheryl Chernecky of New Bedford, John Medeiros (spouse Donna) of East Freetown and Kristine DeMelo (spouse Tony) of East Freetown; sister to Carlton, Raymond, Donald, the late Edmond and Andrew Yousif; grandmother of Kelsey DeMelo, Lindsay Chernecky, Zachary Medeiros, Kayla Chernecky and Tyler DeMelo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Her viewing will take place at the St. Anthony of the Desert Church on Wednesday, March 2 ^nd at 9 A.M. with a funeral mass to follow at 10 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
