SOMERSET - We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Eduardo J. DoCouto, age 55, who passed away on July 28, 2025 at home. Born in St. Michael's, Açores, he was the son of Maria Orminda (Medeiros) DoCouto and the late Julio DoCouto.

Eduardo was a gifted and hardworking man who spent over 30 years as a barber, working side by side with his father at Julio's Hair Styling. Known for his steady hands and warm personality, he built lasting relationships with generations of clients. Beyond the barbershop, he had a true passion for working with his hands and was incredibly talented in many trades. He had a natural gift for working on cars, often taking them apart and putting them back together just for the joy of it. Whether behind the barber's chair or under the hood of a car, he brought skill, care, and pride to everything he did.

Eduardo survived by his Wife Sandy (Mota) DoCouto; Children: Mercedes Corbin, Katie DoCouto and Ryan DoCouto; Step Children: Tessia Simoes and Alyson Simoes; 2 grandchildren; Siblings: Joseph Couto (Wife Sarah) and Helen Couto (husband Alfred Tavares); his late niece Sonya Moore; great nephews: Jayden Moore, Evan Moore and Colby Moore.

Following cremation visitation will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday, August 26th from 9-11:00 A.M. with a service to immediately follow.
