FALL RIVER – Eduardo O. Pessoa, age 82 of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026 with his loving family by his side. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Eduardo was the beloved husband of the late Maria Helena (Araujo) Pessoa and the son of the late Frederico Silva Pessoa and Alzira (Oliveira) Pessoa.

Prior to retiring, Eduardo had worked as an automotive mechanic and also as a jewelry polisher at Swank & N.E. Sterling in Attleboro. He was an avid Benfica fan and enjoyed watching the New England Patriots play. He was a devoted animal lover and loved his pets dearly. Eduardo could fix anything, as he was a great handy man. He also loved cars, and with his previous mechanic experience, continued to share his knowledge with others. Eduardo was a hardworking family man who would always put his family first.

Eduardo is survived by his three children: Jorge Pessoa and his wife Kerri Pessoa, Sandra Pessoa, and Susie Pessoa along with her husband Mike Adolfo; his brother: Amilcar Pessoa; five grandchildren: Justlee Garceau, Javier Pessoa, Viola Pessoa-Cabral, Jazmin Pessoa-Adolfo, and Elias Pessoa-Cabral; and two nephews: Michael & Brian Pessoa.
