Fall River
FALL RIVER - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edward "Tiger" B. Blair, age 68, who passed away on October 2, 2025 at St. Annes Hospital. Born in Fall River he was raised by the late Louis Kenneth Blair and Elaine (Krauzyk) Blair and his loving vovó Ludovina DaPonte Krauzyk, whom he adored.
He worked as an auto mechanic and was the proud owner of New England Towing and Ed's Auto, where he built a reputation for his hard work, honesty, and dedication to helping others. A man of many skills, he was talented in countless trades and never hesitated to step in and lend a hand whenever someone needed it. Known for his generosity and reliability, he touched the lives of many people both in his community and beyond. Family was at the center of his life, and he especially adored children, always going above and beyond for them with love and care.
He was a 1975 graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, where he studied Metal Fabrication. During those years, he not only excelled academically but also as an athlete, serving as captain of his high school soccer team and later playing for the Academica Travel Team. His competitive spirit carried on into other passions, most notably saltwater fishing. Well known among fellow fishermen, he competed in and won numerous tournaments, proudly achieving a state title that reflected both his skill and his love for the sport.
In addition to fishing, he had a lifelong love of cars and racing. His prized 1968 Charger was more than just a vehicle—it was a symbol of his passion, determination, and adventurous spirit. Through his work, his passions, and his love for people, he built a life rich in purpose and connection. He will be remembered as a hardworking and talented man, a loyal friend, and above all, a devoted family man who gave his heart fully to those he loved, especially his children.
He was adored by his children Adam Blair (Fiancé Aureliana Sousa), Jessica Blair (companion Emmanuel Luna), Jennifer Blair and Edward Blair Jr.; siblings: Star Blair, Christine Cyr and Lee Blair; grandchildren: Jaylani Luna and Allessandra Dagwan; godchild Tara Cardoza and the late Nala, who was his loving dog. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Doreen Kupiec and many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
