SOMERSET – Eleanor Marie (Baldaia) Santos R.N., passed away on August 8, 2025, in her 89th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Santos. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John and Irene (Medeiros-Saudade) Baldaia.

Prior to retirement, Eleanor worked as a Registered Nurse for many years at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, going out to eat and swimming. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Eleanor is survived by her children Ann-Marie Stultz and John Santos; sister Irene Bright; much beloved grand and great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Tuesday, August 19th with extended calling hours from 9-10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church at 11:00 A.M. Entombment in Newport Memorial Park.
