TIVERTON - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eli-James DelValle, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. Husband of Alyson (Ferreira) DelValle, and born in Taunton, son of Robin J. "Old Man River" McGuire and Melanie G. DelValle, raised by his late grandparents Aristides "Ted" and Izaltina "Sally" DelValle.

Eli was a devoted dog lover whose beloved companions Sadie and Gretyl will deeply miss him. He now joins his late dogs, Justice and Keyser, who will undoubtedly watch over him. As a personal care attendant with People Inc., Eli was dedicated to helping others. A passionate advocate for cannabis research, he firmly believed in its potential as a medical treatment for various conditions. He was in the process of opening a dispensary in Swansea called Ignited Culture. To honor his memory, the building will be named after him as the Eli DelValle Building. Eli's enthusiasm for New England sports, music, and food was evident in everything he did, especially food! Above all, he cherished "family" and the time he spent with loved ones. Guided by his motto, "Family4Life," Eli emphasized the importance keeping the family connected. His heartfelt phrase, "Magkikita Tayo Sa Langit," will forever resonate with his family, a reminder of his enduring presence and love.

He was loved and cherished by many people including his son Jayden Roman of Tiverton; siblings Amy Mattos and Daniel McGuire; godchildren Elijah Brooks, Lexy Ciara, Colton Texeira and Baylee Texeira; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, who he loved dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate a service at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday, Dec. 17th at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours on Monday, Dec. 16th from 4-8 PM.
