FALL RIVER – Elisa Rego, age 61, passed away on February 7, 2025 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Capelas, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Maria da Conceiçao Rego.

Elisa lived in Fall River for over 40 years. Despite facing health challenges for much of her life, she cherished the times she felt well, enjoying vacations—especially cruises and trips to the Açores. She also had a deep love for church events, with feasts being her favorite.

She was loved and cherished by many people including her long-time companion Eddy Carvalho of Pawtucket; nephews Sean and Gary Rego; siblings Duarte, João, Simoes Rego, Cidalia DaSilva and the late José and Octavio Rego; as well as many nieces and nephews.
