FALL RIVER- With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth C. Medeiros, age 79, who passed peacefully at home on June 8, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife to the late Antonio J. Medeiros. Born in Fall River she was the daughter to the late Charles and Marianna (Souza) Boulay.

She enjoyed taking drives on 12-Mile Drive in Newport, RI and was a devoted New England sports fan who loved watching her favorite teams play. She also enjoyed watching game shows and spending time playing cribbage, card games, and other board games with family and friends.

Throughout her life, she worked as a sewing machine operator, a lunch lady, a crossing guard, and worked in the church, where she faithfully served her parish community. She was dedicated to helping others and took great pride in the work she did.

She loved dancing with her friends and creating lasting memories with those she cared about. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness and pride. Her love, kindness, and warm spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

She survived by her children: Carolyn Oliveira (husband Daniel) of Fall River and Chris Medeiros (wife Angel) of Texas; siblings: Alice Garvin of Swansea and Robert Boulay of New Hampshire; grandchildren: Kayla Cowen, Copley Medeiros, Adessa-Joy Medeiros, Timothy J. Oliveira and Nicholas C. Oliveira; along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Charles Boulay Jr.

Following cremation visitation will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday, June 26th from 5-7 P.M. with a service at 6:30 P.M. with Fr. Michael Racine.
