FALL RIVER – Elsie Cabral, age 89, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2021 at Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Philomena (Borges) Lopes. Prior to retirement, she worked as a garment inspector for Reliable Sportwear in Fall River. Elsie enjoyed reading and going out to eat, she especially loved ice cream. But most of all she loved to spend time with her family.

Elsie is survived by her niece Tracy St. Pierre (husband Jasen) of Swansea and children Addison Lopes and Lauren St. Pierre; brothers James "Hank" Lopes (wife Dolores) of Fall River and Richard Lopes of Warren, RI; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Edward and Louis "Roy" Lopes.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday, Dec. 30 ^th here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael's Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
