PROVIDENCE – Eric M. Handler, age 47, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2021 at RI Hospital after a brief illness with his family by his side. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Curt Handler and Virginia (Silvia) Pires and her husband Donald. Eric loved to ride motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons. He was an avid New England sports fan. Eric had a caring soul and loved helping people.

Along with his parents Eric is survived by his siblings Kimberly Medeiros (husband Michael) of Dighton, Donald Pires Jr. of Somerset and Billy Pires of Somerset; nieces Abigail and Lauren Medeiros; as well as his close friends Debbie, Russell and Joe.
