WICHITA, KS – Eric M. Medeiros, age 47 of Wichita, KS, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 18, 2023. Born and raised in Fall River, Eric was the beloved son of Michael F. Medeiros and Conceicao N. (Sousa) Medeiros, and the brother of the late Kevin Medeiros.

Eric was currently working as a supervisor for the Hyatt Hospitality Co and formerly at Starwood Hotels. Eric enjoyed all types of trivia, and was active in transporting rescue dogs to their eventual forever homes. Eric had several dogs of his own, and enjoyed gardening, where he took pride in his flowers in his yard.

Eric was a graduate of St. Michael's school, B.M.C. Durfee high school class of 1994. He also graduated with a degree in meteorology from Lyndon State College. He will be sadly missed by his friends in Wichita.

In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by an uncle Jordao DeSousa of New Hampshire, an aunt Sherry Silvia of Arizona, and many cousins.

Following cremation, a funeral for Eric will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Friday, Jan. 5, 2024 here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, F.R. Calling hours on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 from 4-7 P.M.
