Eugene "Geno" B. Medeiros, age 83 of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 with his loving family by his side. Born on Oct. 15, 1941 in Ponta Garça, São Miguel, Açores, Eugene was predeceased by his beloved wife Theresa M. (Valentino) Medeiros, and his parents Manuel Inancio Medeiros and Lourdes (Botelho) Medeiros.

Prior to retiring, Eugene worked as a Backhoe Operator for Consolidated Railroad for many years. Some of Eugene's interests were being outdoors, gardening, and fishing. His true passion, was caring for his salt water reef fishing tank. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his two children Debra Ann Moniz (husband John) of Westport, and Steven Gene Medeiros (fiancée Filomena Menezes) of Fall River; grandson Austin John Moniz (wife Lauren); siblings Jose Medeiros, the late João Medeiros, Maria Ann Pimental, Lourdes Filipe, Maria Jose Guerrouxo, Amanda Farias, the late Fernanda Medeiros, and Gilbert Medeiros; many nieces & nephews.
